"There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone."
1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Our Parish offers many different opportunities for returning our gifts of time and talent to God. As stewards of God-given skills and abilities, volunteering in a ministry or organization provides a way to thank God, share our faith with others, and enhance our community.
Our Parish is Amazing because of people like you!
Thank you for your interest in becoming involved in the life of our parish! Below are a few ideas of how to get involved at Church of the Blessed Sacrament. Contact the parish office by email or by phone at 765-463-5733 for more information on how to get involved.

Christmas is a time of joy, celebration, and many guests. Please join us to warmly welcome all by signing up to be a greeter or at the welcome desk. Alleluia, Christ the Savior is Born.
Religious Education/ Faith Formation:
Catechists & Assistants needed! Help our children learn about God's love by teaching/assisting in a classroom on Sundays, helping with Vacation Bible School in the Summer, or serving as a Chaperone for retreats and mission trips. Or help shape the spiritual lives of adults in our parish by teaching, organizing or assisting with parish faith formation opportunities, or helping out with RCIA (Right of Christian Initiation for Adults). Our many Liturgical Ministers are an integral part of our beautiful celebrations of the Mass, whether they serve during the Liturgy (Altar Servers, Lectors, Ushers, and Extraordinary Ministers) or behind the scenes (Arts and Environment Committee, Sacristans, and more). Learn more about Liturgical Ministry here.
Music Ministry is for those who love music. It doesn't matter if you prefer to sing or play an instrument, or perhaps both, there is a spot in the Music Ministry for you. See full details on what Music Ministry has to offer.
Help create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Welcome new parishioners and visitors to our parish by manning the Welcome Desk, helping with new parishioner packets and new parishioner luncheons. Also, if you can cook or just like food, then help out with baked goods for church functions, serving and/or making food for Receptions at First Communion, Easter Vigil, etc. or assisting with Funeral Luncheons, and more!
This is where you can spend your time to help those less fortunate than yourself. Assist with Pro-life efforts, Jubilee Christmas, our parish mission in Uganda, and much more!
Help reach out to those in need of spiritual support. Visit homebound and nursing home residents in our community, or serve on our Bereavement Committee. Or join our Friday evening prayer group.
If you love kids, considering assisting in the Nursery during the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays, or during special functions.
Help with social events at the parish throughout the year, including the Advent Wreath Workshop, Parish Fish Fry, Family Fun Film Night, and many others. This area also includes the Knights of Columbus, W.O.W. (Women of Worship), and other social and service groups.
